MegaHILL Time Attack Bukit Putus will be supported by the Motorsports Association Malaysia (MAM) as the event organiser. This is fantastic news indeed!

At Ignition.my we always believe in Safety First at all the events we promote, and ensure that the minimum safety standards and requirements for a motorsports race are in place. And to gain the support of MAM means that participants will be properly insured and covered in the event of any unfortunate incident.

This means that participants will require a Racing License. For those without, special 1-day licenses will be issued on the day. The cost is RM 60, however Ignition.my will subsidise RM 10 of this cost, so you only need to pay RM 50.

This is on top of the usual safety measures at our events:
- Ambulance and medical team on standby
- Fire team on standby
- 15 course Safety Marshals
- Public liability insurance

Additionally, if you are familiar with our “Bukit Putus Touge Course” route from our previous events here in 2010, there are 3 corners which have been identified to be a bit risky. These 3 turns will feature a small chicane of safety cones to adjust the line in order to avoid the risky areas (for example sunken armco barriers which will launch a car pff the road and down the cliff rather than stop the car!).
