VIDEO: Hammond Lai in Race 1 of Scirocco Cup China 2010 Sepang
The 2nd VW Scirocco Cup China event of 2010 was held at Sepang International Circuit in conjunction with the Japanese Super GT racing series. Malaysia had a representative in Hammond Lai, and you know what? Hammond won!

“I’m incredibly happy! This is for my fellow Malaysians! I knew I had a home-ground advantage, and seeing the support that the spectators gave spurred me on to push hard and take that win!” exclaimed an emotional and delighted Hammond after the race.
Hammond has achieved what few others have, giving Malaysians something to be proud of, even if it was for just a moment. All the best in your next race Hammond!
